Frozen Effect makes some of the aliens on screen appear with a white mist around them. Upon killing each of these aliens, the primary weapon on your ship will be disabled for around 3 seconds, making you a sitting duck. This can be very challenging on higher levels where lots of aliens are attacking.
Tip: If you switch ships, the frozen effect is lost. So if you know you need to kill an alien with white mist and a ship has dropped, kill the alien first and then pick up the dropped ship.
Frozen Effect is the PvP attack of Galaxy Assassin and Galaxy Lord.
