When you have this Expert Item enabled, it gives you a change to avoid Traps set on you by your opponent in PvP. The chance of avoiding traps is as follows:

| Level 2 | Moderate |
| Level 3 | Good |
| Level 4 | Great |
Obviously, mounting this Expert Item when not playing in PvP will not have any effect.
