Tech Cores

Tech Cores can be earned whenever you upgrade a ship, drone or skin past the overload limit.
These can then be used in Talents > Tech to upgrade the Tech Tree. This allows you to select which parts of your ship you want to improve, such as ship damage, drone damage, max energy etc.
