2v2

From Galaxy Attack: Alien Shooter Wiki

In 2 vs 2, you are assigned a random partner, and you compete against two other players. In order to win, you must do the following:

  • Reach a combined wave total of 51 before the other team
  • Be furthest ahead as a team when the (5 minute) timer is up. If levels are tied, the player who has been on the level longest will determine the winning team.

N.B. There is a bug with 2 vs 2, in that the wave counter will not go above 31, even if you complete further waves. This means that even if you are way ahead of your opponent, but your partner died on an earlier wave than one of your opponents, your other opponent can catch up and overtake you.

Tip: There is a bug with the way it determines "furthest ahead". If you lose your partner on the same wave as one of your opponents, the game effectively becomes 1v1. However, if the remaining two players both reach wave 31 and the wave total is below 51, the winning team is the one who gets "furthest" on wave 31. This actually means that if you reach wave 31, you should try to finish this wave as slowly as possible, in order that you last "longer" than your opponent.
