NEO Frost is the sixth drone. This drone fires small seeking projectiles, plus one main forward firing pulse which freezes aliens, causing them to stop moving.
This drone is arguably more of a hinderance than a help, because it stops aliens moving. This puts them out of sync with their normal pattern of movement, meaning if you are familiar with a wave pattern, you're more likely to collide with the alien. Unfortunately there is no way to disable the drone, and so it may be more advantageous to just not pick it up when it appears.
